Amanda Buffalo, EdD graduate from SJE, is the winner of the for her dissertation Kēdzéntēdé Kedzedı̨̄: Aunties, Disestablishment, and the Making of Communiversitea.
The winner receives a publishing contract with University of Illinois Press.
The University of Illinois Press and the National Women's Studies Association (NWSA) seek nonfiction manuscripts that exemplify cutting-edge intersectional feminist scholarship, whether the area of focus is historical or contemporary.
